AI to PDF support
Most problems with an export have one of six causes, and they are all below. If none of them matches, write to [email protected]. A real person at PIXON reads it and replies within one business day, PRO customers first.
Fix it yourself, in a minute
The export button does nothing. What should I check?
Reload the AI chat tab and try again. The extension reads the page through a script that is injected when the tab loads, and a tab left open through an extension update loses it. If the panel says it cannot see a conversation, make sure you are on a conversation URL rather than the home screen of the AI site.
Messages are missing from the exported file.
Scroll to the top of the conversation once, then export again. ChatGPT, Claude, DeepSeek and Grok unload older messages from the page, and although the extension sweeps the transcript before rendering, a very long chat on a slow connection can outrun it. If messages are still missing, write to us with the site and roughly how many messages the chat has.
PRO does not switch on after payment.
Open the PRO tab in the extension and enter the email you used at checkout, then reopen the panel. Activation by email works on up to 5 devices and does not depend on which device paid. If it still says Free, send us that email address and we will look up the payment.
The Word file will not open, or looks wrong.
The file is a standard .docx. If your editor refuses it, try opening it in Google Docs first, which is the strictest of the three we test. Tell us which editor and version you used and we will reproduce it; images and tables are the parts most likely to differ between editors.
The PDF has a URL and a date printed in the margins.
That is Chrome, not the document. In the print dialog open More settings and untick Headers and footers. Chrome remembers the choice for the next time you print.
An export worked yesterday and is broken today.
The AI sites change their pages without notice, and that is the usual cause. Tell us which site and what broke; page changes are fixed first, usually within a day, and the fix arrives as an automatic extension update. What shipped when is listed in the changelog.
Write to us: [email protected]
One address for everything, and there is no ticket form to fill in. What helps us answer in a single reply:
- An export problem: which AI site, which format, what was missing or wrong, and the extension version from the panel footer. A screenshot of the page and of the document is worth three paragraphs. Please do not send the conversation itself unless you are comfortable sharing it; a description is enough.
- PRO activation: the email you used at checkout, and nothing else. We never ask for card details, and we never ask for your password to any AI site.
- Billing or a refund: the email on the Stripe receipt and the date. Refunds within 3 days of any payment are no-questions-asked; the rest is in the terms.
- A feature request: tell us what you were trying to produce, not which button to add. That is how Word became the third format.
Things we will never ask you for
Your password or a login code for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek or Grok. Your card number. Remote access to your computer. The extension does not need any of them, so a message asking for them is not from us. Everything we do see is listed in the privacy policy: an anonymous install ID, a daily export count, and your email if you activate PRO.
Before you write
The FAQ covers limits, privacy, supported sites and what ends up in each file. The changelog shows what changed in every version and which sites were re-verified. For billing across all PIXON apps there is pixon.gr/apps, and the contact page has the company details.
