Every release of the extension, newest first. The AI sites change their pages without notice, so each entry also says which sites were re-verified against a live conversation.
0.2.3 — October 2026 current
- Free plan: 1 PDF or Word export a day (was 3). Markdown stays unlimited and free. PRO is unchanged: unlimited exports, no footer line, up to 5 devices. The counter still resets at midnight.
- ChatGPT: images you uploaded to the chat were missing from the export on the newest page layout; they are back. Large photos are scaled down to fit the document instead of being skipped.
- ChatGPT: a generated image that ChatGPT hands you as a downloadable file (no preview in the chat) is now embedded as a picture, with a “File: name.png” line under it. Rich answers with image carousels and galleries are exported with every picture and caption.
- Claude: Claude Code sessions on the web (claude.ai/code) can be exported too. The document keeps the conversation; each group of tool actions becomes one short line such as “Searched code, edited TASKS.md, ran a command”.

- ChatGPT: on paid accounts every answer came out blank. ChatGPT keeps the previous conversation hidden in the page with the same keys, and its empty copies were winning; visible messages are now preferred. A third ChatGPT page layout (bold and italics as attributes, code in an editor widget) is also read correctly.

- ChatGPT changed its page layout and the panel showed “No messages found yet”. The extension now reads both the old and the new layout, since the rollout is gradual.

- New name: AI to PDF (the first submission was called ChatPaper). One extension, one store listing, every supported AI site.
- Word (.docx) export as a third format next to PDF and Markdown: an editable document with the same layout as the PDF (speaker blocks, code blocks with language, tables, images). Available to everyone; on the free plan it shares the daily document limit with PDF and carries the same footer line.
- Grok support on grok.com; thinking blocks are left out, answers kept in full.
- ChatGPT support: full transcript collection on long chats, web-search citations as clean footnote links, uploaded and generated images embedded, code language taken from the block header.
- Gemini support, including images Gemini generated inside the chat.
- DeepSeek support; DeepThink reasoning is left out of the document, answers are kept in full.
- The document footer links to aitopdf.app on the free plan.

- First release: export the open Claude conversation to PDF or Markdown from the side panel.
- Messages: All, Last reply, or Pick with a checkbox above each message.
- Light and dark document themes; the dark theme keeps its background on every printed page.
- Code blocks keep their language label; monospace font with ligatures disabled so symbols print as typed.
- Attachments you added to a message are embedded; extended-thinking blocks are excluded; artifacts are listed by title and type.
- Free plan with a daily PDF limit and a footer line, unlimited Markdown. PRO: unlimited, no footer, up to 5 devices, activated with the checkout email.
